EJA's third grade dissected owl pellets as a joint STEM and classroom project. This year there has been a lot of collaboration between STEM and our third grade teachers. Third grade has been learning about owls in science and Ms. Verenini, Mrs. Yost and Mrs. Pacuk thought that dissecting owl pellets would be a great hands-on activity to conclude the unit. The children found a lot of neat bones and teeth and had a great time.
