Grade 5
For student of the quarter, Mrs. Sunkes and Ms. Russo have selected Bella Beeman. Bella is a hard worker who is always trying her best. She is never afraid to ask for help when she needs it. Bella is always prepared and ready for class, participating, and adding to classroom discussions. Bella is a role model to those around her, she is a joy to have in class, and her smile brightens our day!
Mrs. Favicchio and Ms. Hummel have chosen Madison Swartout for Student of the Quarter. Madison is a hardworking student whose attention to detail and love of learning is inspiring to her peers. She embodies our school rules of being safe, respectful, and ready to learn every single day. Maddie cares deeply about her friends and family, and we have no doubt that her love for others will take her far in life. Congratulations, Maddie. We are so grateful that you are a part of our community!
Grade 6
Madison Eldred has such a positive attitude and amazing work ethic. She is a kind and polite person who is a wonderful role model to her peers. In STEM and Aqualab, she goes the extra mile for what she believes in. She is an essential member of TREC and Aqua Lab. She even takes time away from recess to help out in the lab. In band, Madison works really hard, is always prepared, is eager to learn, does her best and always does what is asked of her. It is an absolute joy to work with Madison every day.
Liam Meagher is an outstanding student with a great sense of humor. He is eager to participate in class discussions and has high expectations for himself academically. Liam is responsible and takes ownership of his learning. He is not only a great student, but a great friend as well. Liam is always there for his friends and is willing to help them when they need it.
Grade 7
Elliott Mercer-Whipple was proudly chosen by the 7th grade team as a Student of the Quarter. Elliott is a bright, responsible, and hardworking student. She is always engaged in whatever is being taught in her classes. Her thoughtfulness and inquisitive nature shine through in all of her work, but especially in projects and assignments where she is given the opportunity to think outside of the box. Keep being amazing, Elliott!!
Alex Agovino is a wonderful student to have in class. He cares about his school work, works very hard to do his best, and is always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Alex volunteered to not only help during the Black Cat Carnival, but he also helped in the days leading up to Carnival transporting and organizing materials. He also stayed late to make sure the work and clean up was done. He is a very responsible young man and is trusted by his teachers to help out with classroom and school needs. Being an athlete and a student can be a difficult challenge for many kids. Alex met this challenge head on and succeeded. He had a great soccer season and still managed to maintain his grades and get on high honor roll. The 7th grade teachers are very proud of Alex and his accomplishments.
Grade 8
The 8th Grade team has selected Lexi Haas as Student of the First Quarter. Lexi is a positive light to both her peers and all of the Faculty here at C-A Middle School. She is a very active member in our Middle School Community. She is involved in National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, and is a multi-sport athlete participating in Volleyball, Track and Basketball. Lexi is also a major part of the CAMS News team and brings her radiant personality to the morning announcements each day. In addition to all of her extracurricular activities, Lexi has been able to make academics a top priority and maintain High Honor Roll status for the Quarter. The 8th grade team is extremely proud of Lexi and her willingness to succeed and be a strong representative of her C-A Community both in the classroom and beyond!
It is with great pleasure for the Grade 8 Team to award Nate Hodor as Student of the Quarter. Nate’s hard work and discipline makes him a true standout student. Everyday of every week, Nate puts in his very best effort and participates often. Nate is a very respectful young man and a role model for his classmates. Nate also participates in afterschool activities such as Track and Wrestling. Way to go Nate!!!
