Coxsackie-Athens Middle School

Although the growing season in upstate NY is slowing down our Middle School Garden Club members are not.  They have kept busy preparing and planting cold weather vegetables and garlic in the two raised beds in the middle school courtyard, making gardening journals, learning about germination and carving turnips (believed to be the predecessor of the carved pumpkin tradition).
