On Readiness Day, Coxsackie-Athens High School had the privilege of hosting more than 20 businesses, trades, and colleges in an engaging and interactive event designed to inspire and prepare students for their futures.
The day provided students with invaluable opportunities to connect with professionals, explore potential career paths, and gain firsthand knowledge of various industries.
Local businesses and trade professionals shared insights into their fields, offering real-world perspectives on skills and qualifications needed for success. Colleges and training programs introduced students to post-secondary options, helping them envision their next steps after graduation. One of Coxsackie-Athens own, Parker, even presented, representing the Athens fire company.
The event was more than just an information session — it was an interactive experience. Students engaged in hands-on demonstrations, asked questions, and received guidance on how to navigate their educational and career journeys. By fostering these connections, Readiness Day empowered students with knowledge and confidence.
